Things to Consider Before Making Your Appointment
Ensure that your hair is at the correct length. Hair should be 1/4" in length, normally about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks of growth. This especially applies to first-time clients who have been shaving. Stubble is extremely difficult to take off if it is too short. Regular moisturizing and exfoliating your skin will also help you receive the best results.
Please note that if you are using Retin-A or any other prescription topical cream, such as Differin, I will not be able to wax the treated area, such as your face. If you are on Accutane, I cannot wax you at all for at least 8 months once you have stopped taking the prescription. The reason for this is that the medication shuts down all of your oil glands and can cause severe lifting of the skin. This can result in scarring and further damage of the skin.
